My husband is terminally ill and, as a result, he is no longer able to help with things around our home. Recently, our sewer became clogged and backed up into our basement, creating a stressful and unsanitary situation. Two nights before Christmas, I called a local plumbing company for help. They tried to clear the clog, but unfortunately, their industrial snake broke during the process, leaving a large piece stuck somewhere in our sewer line. Now, we have to hire someone to excavate the line to remove the broken equipment and finally unclog the sewer. The cost for the excavation is far more than I can afford right now, especially while caring for my husband.

This situation has made daily life incredibly difficult. We can't wash our clothes or take showers, and after using the bathroom, I have to use a wet and dry vacuum to clean up. It's overwhelming to manage all of this on my own, especially during the holidays.
