My name is Tesha McCord Poe, a friend of more than 4 decades to Michele Theodore and her family. On behalf of the family I am organizing this GoFundMe that I hope you will support and share with others who know and love Michele and Carline. The funds received will go directly to Michele to help navigate the many challenges and expenses she will face during this time.

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Carline Theodore on February 26, 2025, just days after celebrating her birthday on February 16th. After a brief and unexpected illness that left us all in shock, Carline was hospitalized for several weeks before she departed from us.

Carline's vibrant spirit and infectious joy touched everyone she met. She was not just a beloved sister to Michele but a shining light in the lives of all who knew her. Carline and Michele shared an extraordinary bond, forged in the fires of adversity after the loss of their mother, Janine, when they were just young women. Together, they have cared for their father, Wesner, who is now in his 90s, demonstrating the strength and resilience that defines their family.

In this heartbreaking time, we are reaching out to friends, family, and anyone whose life was brightened by Carline's presence. We aim to support Michele as she navigates this challenging period, ensuring she has the resources needed to manage Carline's affairs and to organize a memorial celebration that honors the incredible person Carline was.
