Hi, I’m trying to raise money and asking for help, support, and donations to be able to help me and my kids get back to living a normal life. I was recently in an extremely abusive relationship. He was very controlling and wouldn’t let me work, and he destroyed my car and isolated me from my family and friends. He started getting physical and hitting me, and when I tried to leave, he destroyed my stuff. He broke my hand, and I had to have surgery to fix it. Now, I’m not able to work until it’s healed, and I’m going to get back about 70% use of my hand. He is now in jail, but I no longer have a home. I was able to leave, and I am working with a domestic violence advocate currently, but they can’t even help me with gas cards because they are out of funds.

The incident happened so close to Christmas, so my kids ended up with nothing for Christmas. The advocate I’m working with did try to help get me some things, but there was nothing left to give me for them. I really want to make it better for my family. I want to use the funds to help with some needs and necessities that we no longer have and to help me find a car and housing and be able to move away from my current situation. I have a lot of medical expenses currently, and I’m struggling to get back and forth between therapy and physical therapy. I’m trying to get back into school and just get my life together and back to normal for me and my family.
