Hi, my name is Mack. My partner Salena and I are going through one of the hardest seasons of our lives—and we’re asking for support as we work to rebuild a stable future for our growing family.
Right now, we’re staying in an emergency overflow shelter hotel with our 2-year-old daughter. Currently, Salena is pregnant with our second child, and we’re both currently out of work. We’re actively job-hunting and doing everything we can, but at this point, we can’t make it through without some help.
We’ve been doing everything possible to keep going, but it’s been overwhelming—mentally, emotionally, and financially. The biggest thing we need now is stability. A safe place to call home. A fresh start.
What We’re Facing
We're trying to raise money to cover:
- First and last month’s rent so we can move into stable housing
- Essential baby/toddler supplies (diapers, food, prenatal needs etc)
- Keeping up with car payments so we can attend job interviews and appointments
- Covering daycare costs for our 2-year-old so she can have time to learn and play with other toddlers
- Basic living expenses as we look for work and get back on our feet
Why We’re Not Giving Up
We’re not just trying to survive—we’re trying to rebuild.
I’m a photographer with my own business, and once we have a stable place to live and some breathing room, I’m ready to pour everything into growing it again. Salena is strong and determined, and despite everything, she’s been doing everything she can to take care of our daughter and carry this pregnancy with strength.
