Momma and four kiddos in need of support during an incredibly difficult season.

Hi, my name is Maggie, and I am a mom to four beautiful blessings, ages 7–14. Many of you know parts of my story—how, years ago, my husband struggled with drug addiction and severe abuse, and how, through that pain, I found Christ. You’ve seen how God began to change our lives, how healing came, and how we stepped forward in faith, believing in the calling He had for our family.
It breaks my heart to share that several months ago, my husband—my children’s father—relapsed after 15 years of sobriety. With that relapse came a return of extreme abuse. Things quickly spiraled, and despite my deepest efforts to fight for my marriage and seek help, I was ultimately faced with one of the hardest decisions of my life: to separate for the safety and well-being of myself and my children.
During that time, things became very unstable. We were no longer able to safely remain in our home, and after ongoing conflict and distress, my children and I found refuge in a domestic violence center in Ridgecrest. It was one of the most painful and disorienting seasons we’ve ever walked through.
After a long and emotional two months, I am grateful to share that a 3-year restraining order has been granted to protect me and my children. I have been given full custody, with supervised visits arranged for their father. While this brings a sense of protection, the emotional weight of everything we’ve experienced is still very real.
I was granted child support, but I do not yet know if or when it will actually be paid. I plan to apply for government assistance on Monday, but I understand that process can take time. As of right now, I have no income. If you feel led to help support us financially during this transition and give us a small boost as we get back on our feet, it would truly be such a blessing and deeply appreciated.
This has been incredibly hard—not just for me, but especially for my children. Their hearts have been through so much. We are moving forward, but we are doing so tenderly, carrying both grief and hope. I truly believe God has been with us through every moment, even in the courtroom, and I am holding onto Him now more than ever.
I am reaching out because I need support—more than I ever have before. I need community, prayer, encouragement, and people to walk alongside us during this time. If you feel led, please pray for my children—that their hearts would heal and that this would not define their future. Pray for me, that I would have the strength, wisdom, and peace to lead them well. And please pray for my husband, that he would find true healing, repentance, and restoration.
I am so deeply grateful for those who have already surrounded us with love, compassion, and support. I truly don’t know how we would have made it through without you. These past two months have stretched me in ways I never imagined, but by God’s grace, we are still standing—and I am learning just how much strength He has placed within me.
Lastly, some dear friends have offered to help us with a home refresh—a chance to create a peaceful, safe, and comforting space for my children as we begin again. If you feel led to give, we are hoping to raise funds toward new beds, mattresses, flooring, and much-needed repairs. I will be making an Amazon wishlist!
That day we will also be doing deep cleaning throughout the home, removing and hauling loads of items to the dump, organizing every space, significantly reducing our belongings by about 75%, and painting the inside of the house to help create a fresh, peaceful start. Any hands-on help with cleaning, sorting, lifting, or painting would be an incredible blessing.
Every bit of support, whether through prayer, time, or generosity, means more than I can express. Date will be this month, and is TBD.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for every prayer, message, act of kindness and generosity in advance.

With love and gratitude,
Maggie Fuller
