Help Us Rebuild After Mold Destroyed Our Home

Hi, my name is Abigail, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write. I’m not someone who asks for help easily—but we’ve found ourselves in a situation that we can’t get through alone.

Our previous home became unsafe due to severe mold, caused by leaks that our landlord failed to repair. Over time, the mold spread through the house and into nearly all of our belongings. My son lost everything—his clothes, his bed, even his favorite comfort items. As a mom, watching him go through that kind of loss has been heartbreaking.

We’ve finally found a new place to live where we can start fresh in a clean, safe space. But the financial toll has been heavy. Between moving costs, cleaning, and trying to replace the basic things my son needs, we’re stretched beyond our limit.
