On March 15, 2026, at around 4:30am, our lives changed forever. During a blizzard warning, our home caught on fire due to a powerful lightning strike—on my son's 16th birthday. The shock and devastation of losing our home and belongings in the middle of a storm has left us feeling overwhelmed, but we are doing our best to stay strong for each other. My five children, my father, our two dogs, and I are grateful to be safe, but we are now facing the challenge of rebuilding our lives from scratch.
Right now, we need help with temporary housing, replacing clothing, and getting the essential items we lost in the fire. With no family or friends nearby—all of our loved ones are in Pennsylvania—we are leaning on each other and trying to see the light in this difficult situation. Every bit of support will help us take the next step forward and bring some hope back into our lives.
It would mean the world to us to receive help from our community during this tragic time. We would be forever grateful for any and all support as we work to rebuild and recover. Thank you for reading our story and for considering helping our family.
