My name is Lori, and I never imagined I’d be in this position. Recently, our house caught on fire and we lost everything. In a matter of hours, our lives were turned upside down. We are safe, but the loss is overwhelming and we’re facing the challenge of starting over from scratch.

One of the hardest parts is that our beloved male cat is still missing after the fire. We are doing everything we can to find him and bring him home. Our dogs made it out safely with us, but our cat is part of our family and we are heartbroken not knowing where he is. This uncertainty has made an already difficult time even harder.

We are currently staying wherever we can, but it’s not a permanent solution. The funds raised will help us secure temporary housing so we have a safe place to stay while we figure out our next steps. We also need to replace basic necessities like clothing, food, and important documents that were lost in the fire. We want to make sure our dogs are cared for and comfortable as we rebuild, and continue searching for our cat.
