This morning, my fiancé and I experienced something we never imagined—our apartment caught on fire. The damage from smoke and water has left us without power, water, food, or even a place to call home. Everything changed in an instant, and we’re now facing the reality of starting over with almost nothing.

We just moved to this area on September 19, 2025, hoping for a fresh start. With no family nearby and still finding our way in a new community, it’s been overwhelming. I’m also in recovery from alcohol addiction, and this setback has been especially hard. The funds raised here will help us find temporary housing, replace essentials, and get food while we work to rebuild our lives.
