My father and I live on a fixed income. We have been displaced suddenly by a fire that severely damaged the building and caused it to be condemned. The firefighters had to shut off the gas and electricity and condemn our building because it was all connected and could not be ran to one apartment and not the other. Hundreds of people have been displaced.
