My apartment caught on fire and I lost everything. It’s been an incredibly difficult time for me and my kids, as we try to process the trauma and figure out how to move forward. In a matter of moments, our home and all of our belongings were gone, leaving us with nothing but the clothes on our backs. The shock and devastation have been overwhelming, but I’m doing my best to stay strong for my family.

Right now, we need help to cover the costs of temporary housing, replacing essentials like clothing and household items, and eventually finding a new permanent place to live. There are also medical needs and medications that we have to take care of in the aftermath of the fire. Every bit of support will help us rebuild and regain some stability during this incredibly challenging time.
