Hi everyone,

We never thought we’d be here asking for help. We’ve always been the ones lending a hand, but right now, we’re facing one of the hardest times of our lives.

A few weeks ago, we put our story on GoGetFunding and were so excited to receive our first donation until we got a supposed second donation of a genous amount which wold have been life changing before we quickly realised it was a scam. That crushed us, but we’re trying again here, determined not to give up.

Recently, we were in a serious car accident that left us injured, without a vehicle, and without Mum’s cleaning equipment one of her only sources of income. The car was essential for medical appointments and keeping her small business alive.

Mum is now undergoing tests for serious conditions including MS, leukemia, and Hodgkin’s disease to get diagnosed as it has been suspected in earlier childhood and adulthood and recent levels have been up which indicate it, on top of her ongoing health challenges. I’m in Year 11 and facing my own medical needs and specialist appointments we can’t afford. We’re also both trying to get ADHD assessments, but the costs are overwhelming.

We’re , drowning physically and mentally being unable to work mum always makes sure that our family never goes without but just have no income to support our needs

Also on top of all of all of this we are facing illegal eviction by our last 2 landlords for the 3rd time in 3 years twice from 1 landlord we have been through nothing but hell and abuse from our current landlord for the last few years and we have had a few animals pass from being poisoned likely from him and now this it feels like the end at time but we try to not give up i hope we are not oversharing just want people to see were not trying to be greedy we truly need a miracle at this point

Despite everything, we’re holding onto hope. Our dream is to one day run a food van to feed the homeless and create a safe space for people escaping domestic violence a place filled with warmth, meals, and community.
