Help Us Reach My Mom Battling Stage 4 Cancer

I am a veteran of the U.S Navy and served my time as a Chief Petty Officer. My mother stuck with me through everything: all my award ceremonies, helping my wife get through deployments, and prayers most of all. I was the kind of guy that it could never be me. She beat breast cancer, and she was a hero, and I am so proud of her for that.

The other day, she started to feel pain in her chest and was really not well. Her insurance doesn’t kick in until November, but she is having that taken care of. Now, while admitted to the hospital, they ran a litany of tests and bloodwork, and she has a tumor in the center mass of her chest, which makes surgery extremely hard due to the location. She also has stage 4 cancer in her spine and in her liver, so I would like my kids my wife and I to visit her and spend these hard moments with her.

I have a family of 6, and I am disabled in school. My wife is a waitress in Greenville but has to take 6 weeks off because she broke her leg, we have 4 beautiful children ages 5-15. Unfortunately, we won’t have the money to get down to see her. We are asking for kind souls out there, no matter how small or large, to please find it in your heart to get me and my family home to my mom. Thank you so much
