Help us reach more children in rural Uganda ❤️

At Triumph Heart, we work with children with disabilities and their families in rural Uganda. Many of the families we support live in remote places, and not every child can travel to our clinics.

We want to change that.

We’re stepping into a new season where we want to reach more children, more consistently and more thoroughly. Our vision is to spend three days each week in the community, travelling to families, meeting with them, supporting and encouraging them, and providing the physiotherapy their children need to reach their full potential.

To make this possible, we need a motorbike.

We’ve been looking carefully at how we can do this in a sustainable way and keep our costs as low as possible. With fuel prices continuing to rise, we’ve found an electric motorbike solution that could significantly reduce our ongoing travel costs.

The company we would purchase the motorbike from has a battery-swapping service. When the battery runs low, we can take it to them, they’ll swap it for a fully charged battery, and we can keep going. They then charge the battery for us and have it ready for the next swap. This means we can keep travelling and serving families without relying on charging the bike ourselves.

We’re aiming to raise £1,500 to purchase the motorbike.
