Gym Bag Project 2024: Support the Women's Shelter

The season of giving is upon us once again, and in that spirit of giving, I will be holding the 3rd Annual Gym Bag Project Fundraiser for the Women's Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh.

I believe we have an obligation to reach out in our community to offer support to those who may not have the same gifts of time, funds, or resources to focus fully on their own personal health and well-being. Personal wellness should be as simple as being able to take a shower with your own shampoo, put a fresh diaper on your baby, or use a tampon when you get your period. So, I ask you to join me in trying to make the holiday season just a little easier for some women and children in our community who need our help.

In 2022, we were able to raise $550 in funds, along with about 30 full tote bags of goods that we delivered to the center for the holidays. In 2023, we were able to raise $750 in funds, with boxes of donations. I would love to reach or exceed our goal of $1,000 this year, and with your help, we can do it!

I'm opening up the donations for the holiday season early this year with the hopes of your help sharing this fundraiser with your friends and community to help us surpass our previous years' donations.
