Please help us Raise some Soil

The Santiago Food Project Garden of Indigenous Permaculture needs some new soil for our new year's crop rows. We have been growing food, amaranth, herbs, and medicinal plants at our garden in San Antonio, Oakland for 4 years now.  The original soil base has eroded from water and wind and natural shift.

We'd like to raise some funds to buy soil to grow food crops for the neighboring community and for the mesoamerican community of Fruitvale, including the amaranto crop we grow each year. Anything you can pitch in is appreciated.

This is also a training and learning center where urban farmers grow. Please see indigenouspermaculture.org for more information on our programs and 3 sites.
