Alliance of Sahel States (AES) Solidarity Fund

This fundraiser is organized by the Coalition for the Elimination of Imperialism in Africa (CEIA). The Coalition for the Elimination of Imperialism in Africa is an anti-imperialist and socialist movement in defense of all African people’s struggle for liberation and self determination.

We have three defining objectives:

-To inform the international public about the anti-colonial struggles sweeping across Africa and provide an anti-imperialist perspective of the region's developments.

-To develop solidarity networks for anti-imperialist organizations based in Africa to support their struggle on the front-lines.

-To organize international campaigns in solidarity with those anti-colonial struggles sweeping across Africa.

Two members our coalition recently returned from a delegation that visited all three member states of the AES (Mali, Burkina Faso and Niger). Throughout this delegation they connected with several anti-imperialist and Pan-Africanist organizations throughout the Sahel.

Money donated to this fund will be redistributed to those organizations throughout the Alliance of Sahel States. Our hope is that every month, we can contribute to one revolutionary organization in order to support their activities on the ground.

In order to do that, we require ONGOING support from all conscious Africans and justice loving people.

AES is the tip of the spear in our fight against imperialism and if we are serious about defending the AES then we must recognize our responsibility to materially support that struggle.

Prudence Iticka is a Cameroonian born Canada-based Pan-African organizer with United African Diaspora and a member of the Coalition for the Elimination of Imperialism in Africa. She was also a part of the delegation.

Cette collecte de fonds est organisée par la Coalition pour l'élimination de l'impérialisme en Afrique (CEIA). La Coalition pour l'élimination de l'impérialisme en Afrique est un mouvement anti-impérialiste et socialiste qui défend la lutte de tous les peuples africains pour la libération et l'autodétermination.

Nous avons trois objectifs principaux :

-Informer le public international sur les luttes anticoloniales qui traversent l'Afrique et fournir une perspective anti-impérialiste des développements de la région.

-Développer des réseaux de solidarité pour les organisations anti-impérialistes basées en Afrique afin de soutenir leur lutte en première ligne.

-Organiser des campagnes internationales en solidarité avec les luttes anticoloniales qui se déroulent en Afrique.

Deux membres de notre coalition sont récemment rentrés d'une délégation qui a visité les trois Etats membres de l'AES (Mali, Burkina Faso et Niger). Au cours de cette délégation, ils ont noué des contacts avec plusieurs organisations anti-impérialistes et panafricanistes dans la region.

L'argent versé à ce fonds sera redistribué à ces organisations à travers l'Alliance des États du Sahel. Nous espérons que chaque mois, nous pourrons contribuer à une organisation révolutionnaire afin de soutenir ses activités sur le terrain.

Pour ce faire, nous avons besoin du soutien permanent de tous les Africains conscients et de toutes les personnes éprises de justice. L'AES est au centre de lan lutte contre l'impérialisme et si nous voulons sérieusement défendre l'AES, nous devons reconnaître notre responsabilité de soutenir matériellement cette lutte.
