COFEX which is a non-profit organization base out of Boston, Massachusetts, is seeking your kind donation to help put solar street lamps on the street of the Commune of Fond-des-Blancs, which is located in the Southern coast of Haiti. Because of darkness after 7:00 pm most businesses and activities are not operating. Our goal is to install at least 400 lamps within the next 5 months in all major streets of Fond-des-Blancs as well as major intersections where vendors, family and friends are gathered to hang out at night. These lamps will be visible in all surrounding boroughs of the commune. Bringing lights on the streets of Fond-des-Blancs will allow people to walk and conduct normal activities at night while feeling safe and secure in their respective neighborhoods.
