A dream is slowly becoming reality in Jokero Village, Uganda.

Together with Wimbo of Africa Children Ministries, we are building a primary school for vulnerable children who currently have very limited access to education.

The foundation and walls of the first classroom block are already completed.

But now construction has reached a critical point:

The school urgently needs a roof.

Without roofing, the heavy rains will weaken and damage the walls that have already been built.

There is also a real risk that the unfinished structure will not meet government safety requirements, which could stop the project completely.

We cannot let this happen.

A roof means:

* protecting everything that has already been built

* allowing construction to continue

* bringing this school one step closer to opening for the children

The total amount needed for timber, iron sheets, nails, labour and all roofing materials is:

€4,867

This may sound like a big amount, but together we can make it possible.
