Please help make sure Lady Haven bear comes home! Let's support Lake Lure Flowering Bridge's efforts to purchase this special painted bear. This incredible non-profit is dedicated to creating and maintaining beautiful gardens that inspire and educate our community and they suffered a devastating loss of the bridge from Hurricane Helene on Sept 27, 2024. Every donation, big or small, even $5, will help reach the goal of $10,000 as a "Buy It Now" when the bidding starts on September 25, 2025. Also raising $500 to transport her to the gardens already being revitalized and rebuilt.

She said, "It’s a tribute to the beauty and spirit of Lake Lure, and all proceeds will benefit the Pardee Hospital Foundation. Lady Haven features the Flowering Bridge and the Rainbow Bridge that once held the beloved dog collars—symbols of memory and love." Note: I am creating this fundraiser as an individual who just loves Lake Lure and wanted to do something to bring the bear where she will be viewed by many for years to come. This Go Fund Me has the full support of the flowering bridge Board members and 100% of the proceeds will be contributed to the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge. This bear may seem inconsequential to some, but it's a symbol of what was lost and an artistic beacon of hope for a future that will be different, but resurrected with the love and devotion of charitable hearts.
