Hello, my name is Feryal.

Before the war, my family and I lived a relatively comfortable life. However, the conflict has devastated our home and community and has left us with nothing.

Our home was destroyed by the occupation, and we have lost all of our possessions and livelihoods. My family is struggling to find basic necessities like food, water, and clothing. They are struggling to survive, and with winter’s arrival, I fear for my family’s well-being as they are forced to face the cold, harsh winds and heavy rains. They live in tents that do not provide them with adequate shelter.

My family consists of thirty people, which includes mostly young children and elderly relatives. The trauma of the war has taken a toll on our mental and physical health. We are living in constant fear and uncertainty. We need your support. Can you help us?

Living expenses (two months) for my immediate family and their families displaced in Gaza:

I am desperate to get my entire family out of the southern Gaza Strip, and they will each need $5,000 to secure a permit into Egypt when the border reopens.

Living in Egypt for the first 3 months would then require an additional $5,000 per person to cover basic living expenses and to secure temporary lodging.

My mother and I are currently in Egypt seeking medical treatment. We both suffer from muscular dystrophy, leaving us wheelchair-bound. We require soft tissue release surgery, which involves making an incision in affected areas to loosen them from nearby joints, allowing us to move with more ease. We will also need long-term physical therapy as a result. My mother also suffers from intestinal hemorrhoids and requires surgery to relieve additional suffering. Medical care is expensive, and we hope, with your support, that we can also collect enough funds to secure the medical care we desperately need.

My father, who is in Gaza, is no longer able to walk due to the injuries he sustained from the occupational forces. There are no facilities to support his disability, and we urgently need to evacuate him for treatment. Please help us.

My mother and I are constantly worried about our family's well-being. We are desperate to help them escape this horrific situation.
