Hello, my name is Kelvin Emokpae (they/them), founder of Osas Foundation Care (OFC), a registered non-profit organisation based in Lagos State, Nigeria (CAC Registration No. 9462275). We provide dignity-first, privacy-first support to vulnerable youth and underserved community members who are facing urgent safety risks such as violence, displacement, exploitation, or blackmail.

Over the past months, people have reached out to OFC for protection-related support. We have been able to provide direct non-residential support in several cases (safety planning, basic needs support where feasible, and referral navigation), and in other cases we could only signpost to partners due to limited capacity. The gap is clear: when someone is at immediate risk, there is often nowhere safe to go, and support is time-sensitive.

What we are raising funds for

We are raising funds to pilot a time-bound Safe Housing & Protection Pathways programme over 12 months. This pilot will support up to 15 time-bound stays, alongside confidential intake, rapid risk screening, basic needs support during stabilisation, referral navigation (health, psychosocial, and legal where relevant), and reintegration planning.

Safeguarding and privacy-first commitment

Safety comes first. OFC uses coded case IDs and strict data minimisation. We do not publish identifying beneficiary details or sensitive operational information. We can share verification documents and more detailed programme information through secure channels for due diligence upon request.
