Anu, Sunny, Monika, and Cathy are traveling for the first time to Kenya with Unimedlink - a small medical group of doctors, nurses and staff volunteers from Roseville created by our very own Mike Driscoll and Sam Kaniu. We are planning to provide free medical care,with assistance and cooperation from local medical personnel, to the rural population several hours outside of Nairobi. Additionally we will also be combining with a local activist organization to decrease girl absenteeism and stigma by providing free menstrual pads and health education for those with very little means. All funds will be used only towards services and products for the local population.
