In 2023, together as friends a family, you helped us build a home in Marshall, Liberia for our adopted children and their mother, Naomi. They were tremendously blessed with the outpouring of love and generosity for what they call their "American house".
Recently, the water table in the community that our family's house was built in has dropped dramatically and wells throughout the area have gone dry. It is nearly an hour walk to get water from a swamp to use for cleaning and toilets, and drinking water must be purchased and carried home. The community is suffering the lack of one of life's basic necessities.
The cost to drill a well to a depth that water would be consistently available and have a pump installed is approximately $3200. This well would be available for to the surrounding community and greatly decrease their effort and expense to get water.
Imagine having to walk an hour for water for dirty water, instead of into the kitchen and turning on the tap. Please donate whatever you can to help fill this desperate need.
