My elderly mother, who has been experiencing homelessness for the last 4-6 months, finally came in off the streets and we've placed a bed for her in our family room. However, I'd love to have a trailer for her to live in her own space. She has previously been unwilling to allow anyone to help her as she suffers from severe Mental Illness. I feel she is finally ready to stay with us but gave us no indication she was coming until yesterday (8/26/24). I know I should've been more prepared, but I wasn't.

Also, all our full bathrooms are upstairs and she is unable to make the climb upstairs. The title picture is a sample trailer that I would like to get for her. Nothing fancy, but something clean and easy for her to walk around in, step into the shower (no tub, she can barely lift her feet when she walks) and easily get into the bed. Also, something that has a sealed roof and working AC for her. If you happen to have a trailer that is affordable and you feel would work, please let me know.

I'll also be building her a small outside deck and ramp up alongside the front of the trailer, so she doesn't have to climb any more stairs. I had already prepped an area with Full Hookups in anticipation of her coming, but have not had a chance to save money to purchase a trailer for her. Whatever needs repair on the trailer I can do, I'm just looking to get her living in a dignified space that would have some privacy for her and would be right outside so I can keep an eye on her.
