Hello-
We are The Innocents Alliance, a coalition of three dedicated mothers, brought together by one mission, reuniting children with their rightful and safe custodial parents, putting an end to custodial interference, parental kidnapping, and abuse by non-custodial parents, and bringing missing children back to where they truly belong.
Today, we share a heart-wrenching story with you.
This case unfolded for us in July of 2023. After extensive weeks of interviews, reviewing court records, trial testimony, collaborating with law enforcement across various counties in Oregon, Washington, and California, placing Facebook ads and distributing Maddie’s Missing Children's poster, we successfully reunited Maddie with her father on August 31st, 2023 after being missing for more than 2 months. Imagine a father living in the anguish of not knowing where his daughter is, whether she's safe, or if she's hurt. That is an unbearable pain.
It was with the invaluable support of law enforcement and our communities, that we were able to rescue Madison from the ongoing abuse inflicted by her mother. This stands as a testament to the power of unity and unwavering determination in the face of adversity, illustrating how multiple communities joined forces to bring Maddie back to safety.
Mr. Jarod Johnson is a father who has fought relentlessly for the safety and well-being of his precious daughter, Madison. Their journey has been one of unimaginable struggle, as the mother of their daughter has manipulated the legal system and their child, using every legal tactic to disrupt their lives and damage their bond. Mr. Johnson has poured every resource into ensuring his daughter's safety and happiness, but he can no longer do it alone.
In April of 2022, Mr. Johnson filed for and was granted an Immediate Danger Order. After a grueling 6-day trial, he was awarded sole custody of their daughter in April of 2023.
Since June 3, 2022, non-custodial mother has filed false court documents a total of 20 times across six different counties and two states, all with the intent of shaping a false narrative and further abusing Mr. Johnson and his daughter.
For years, Madison's mother's actions have inflicted pain and trauma on their child, who has endured so much at only 8 years old. She has repeatedly disrupted Maddie's relationship with her father, disappearing with Madison multiple times. She has forced Madison to live in deplorable and unstable environments, causing emotional harm. This is incomprehensible abuse.
Mr. Johnson is privately paying the cost of his daughter's counseling to help her heal from the emotional scars inflicted upon her by her mother.
To compound their challenges, the cost of living has soared. The burden of rent and constant legal battles has left Mr. Johnson financially drained and emotionally exhausted. He has already accumulated $63,000 in attorney fees, and his battle is far from over. Our goal is to help provide them with a two-bedroom home with a yard, where Maddie can run and play carefree without the constant fear of her mother showing up and taking her away once again.
While we are relieved to have Madison back where she belongs, we must ensure her safety and well-being now more than ever. That's why we are turning to the kindness of our community, friends, and even strangers. We need your support to provide a stable and loving environment for Mr. Johnson and his daughter, to cover her counseling expenses, and to secure a new home where she can feel safe and begin rebuilding her life.
Every dollar donated will go toward their therapy, legal fees, and the pursuit of a home where Maddie can thrive.
Please, join us in protecting him and his daughter from further psychological and financial abuse. Your contribution, regardless of the amount, will make a significant difference in their journey to give them the life they deserve.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude for being a part of this journey with us. Your kindness and generosity will be forever remembered.
With heartfelt gratitude,
The Innocents Alliance
