Wildwood Naturist Resort is for sale. Our community of 50 residents and 75 weekend members is working to raise $1.5M to keep it in the hands of naturists rather than see it converted into condos or a standard RV park. Wildwood is open year round to visitors as well as members who enjoy the relaxation and recreation offered by this serene naturist facility. This GoFundMe is the first step: a $30,000 starter fund to cover legal and organizational costs, and to demonstrate momentum toward the larger goal.

Those of us organizing this GoFundMe are the steering committee and coordinators for the WW Invest 2025 organization. We are launching this campaign to raise funds for an exciting and meaningful project: the protection of our clothing-free, body-positive, naturist resort.

Wildwood is a safe, welcoming space for individuals to relax, connect with nature, and feel comfortable just being themselves. This project is driven by our vision and beliefs that everyone deserves a place where they can feel free, accepted, and at peace, without judgment. Our resort emphasizes privacy, comfort, eco-consciousness, and community, offering members and guests the opportunity to unwind in a serene natural setting. Wildwood provides members and guests with the ability to lounge in the fresh country air, soak in the hot tub, swim and relax in the pools or take a hike in the woods and meadows of our great outdoors.

Recently, the current owners have decided to retire. As in the most recent past with other similar resort locations within the last 10 years, our wonderful paradise is on the path of transitioning and possibly being repurposed. It is open to potential land clearing and condominium development, housing project/subdivision takeovers and/or other use of the land which may include developing a standard RV park. Many of the other resorts have ended up in this manner.

With that we are facing the potential loss of not only our wonderful resort, but also our current way of life and homes. We, as the steering committee, have a truly diverse background and have support from both the current owners and additional members all assisting in the transition. More specifically, our team has traditional hospitality backgrounds and experience and we are enthusiastic about the vision and are fully committed to making it a reality. Our goal is to maintain the current focus of the resort and improve the offerings and amenities so others can visit and enjoy a place for individuals, couples, and families to camp, relax, be in nature, and feel comfortable just being themselves.

For us to prevent the closure or repurpose of our resort, our homes, and improve it as a functional retreat requires significant investment. We have determined that we are seeking to raise approximately $1,500,000 to bring this project to life and protect this wonderful resort and lifestyle from being closed or purchased by outside entities. That said, we want to be fully transparent: if we do not reach the full funding goal, we will pursue a scaled-down vision of the resort using the funds available. Every contribution — large or small — helps to move the vision forward and is deeply appreciated.
