The El Segundo Woman’s Club is raising funds to preserve and renovate its historic clubhouse, which was the original 1912 schoolhouse for El Segundo. The clubhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2023 and is one of only six buildings in the South Bay to receive this prestigious national recognition. With that distinction, the Woman’s Club feels an even greater sense of responsibility to maintain the building for our community. The renovation will allow the Club to host more community events, increase accessibility, and attract more rentals, which are vital in enabling us to preserve the building and to support the Club’s philanthropic donations and high school scholarships. Many of you have donated, along with local businesses, and we are extremely grateful. We are very close to reaching our goal. Your support of this effort will help us preserve an important piece of El Segundo’s early history. Thank you!
