My family and I are currently facing some tough times. Unexpected expenses have been piling up all at once, making it really difficult to afford our basic needs. On top of everything, we are expecting our fourth baby in just a couple of months. I want to make sure we’re prepared for his arrival, but with all the bills and financial setbacks lately, I’m not sure how we’ll manage.

One of the biggest challenges right now is that my husband fell behind on his truck registration and now owes money to the DMV collections agency. This is in addition to what was already taken from our tax refund, which we had planned to use for our cars. If we can’t pay this off soon, they’ll start garnishing his wages, which would set us back even further. Every penny of our income for the next two months is already spoken for, and a wage garnishment would make things even harder. For the baby, we still need to buy clothes, bottles, diapers, wipes, a sterilizer for my breast pump parts, and postpartum care products to help me recover from birth.

It’s really hard for me to ask for help, but I’m in a situation where I need to put aside my pride and reach out. Our family is struggling with all these extra expenses, and it’s putting a lot of pressure and stress on me as I enter my third trimester. Even with both my husband and I working, we just can’t stretch our dollars enough to cover everything that’s come up recently. With just a little help to get us back on track, I’d be able to spend the rest of my pregnancy much more relaxed and stress-free, and focus on this new beginning for our family.
