Day 18 | 05/21
Hi everyone,
Instead of just waiting and wishing, I decided to do something. I wrote a children’s book called Trevor the Tiny-Armed T-Rex, and it’s now available for preorder on Kindle!
It’s a sweet, funny story about a little dinosaur who wants to play baseball but struggles with the one thing he can’t change—his tiny arms. I poured so much heart into it, and I’m proud to share it with the world.
All proceeds from the book will go toward our $6,000 debt goal.
So if donating isn’t an option, buying the book for $2.99 or sharing the link still helps us in a huge way.

Day 12 | 05/15
Today, the campaign saw a $280 boost — a reminder that every bit counts and we’re inching closer to our goal.
We’re still deep in the thick of it, but knowing that progress is being made — even in small ways — helps keep our spirits up. Whether it’s through donations, shares, or encouraging words, every gesture matters.
If you’ve been following our journey or were waiting for the right moment to help, we’d be grateful beyond words. Thank you for being part of this with us.
Day 8 | 05/11 — Mother’s Day
Today is my first Mother’s Day. I imagined it differently. A small breakfast out, a photo together, maybe flowers. But instead, I’m in survival mode — still trying to keep us afloat.
We’re 8 days into this campaign with no new donations, but I’m not giving up. If you’ve read our story and it moved you — even a little — please share, donate, or leave a comment. Every bit helps more than you know.
Day 5 | 05/08
We’re five days in and still sitting at $60 raised out of our $6,000 goal. It’s humbling, it’s scary, but we’re not giving up.
This morning we had a simple breakfast with Grandma—one of the few small comforts we’ve held onto. Tonight, we’re attending a free ASL class at the library. It may not sound like much, but we’re trying to keep learning, growing, and moving forward—one small effort at a time.
Our daughter’s first teeth might be coming in, and it feels symbolic—she’s growing right in front of us while we’re fighting to build a stable life for her. We’ve cut everything we can: no eating out, no streaming (except Disney), and we’ve stopped all unnecessary spending. Even my wardrobe is down to six maternity shirts on repeat.
But truthfully? None of that fixes the deeper issue: debt that’s keeping us from breathing room, homeownership, and a safety net.
Here’s what we need help clearing:
- $2,000 — Credit Card (not in use anymore, just lingering)
- $1,000 — Affirm
- $1,200 — Car repair loan (oil change & brake replacement)
- $1,800 — Dental loan for my husband
This is the last wall between us and a fresh start. If you're in a position to help—even $5 means the world. And if you can't donate, please consider sharing our campaign. Every view matters.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
Day 4 | 05/07/2025
Still no new donations today, but we’re not giving up.
A few people have asked what makes up the $6,000 goal, so I want to lay it out clearly:
• $2,000 – Credit card (literally in the freezer—an old trick to avoid using it)
• $1,000 – Affirm loan
• $1,200 – Car repair loan (we had to replace brakes and get an oil change)
• $1,800 – Dental work for my husband.
These aren't reckless purchases—they're just the cost of keeping life moving. Every time we think we’re catching up, interest drags us back down.
We’re trying to clear this once and for all so we can finally get ahead. No more spinning our wheels. No more fear that one bad month knocks everything over.
Even a few dollars helps move the needle. And if donating’s not possible, a share or a kind word goes a long way too.
Thanks for sticking with us.

Update – Day 3 | 05/06/2025
Today I found out my boss is selling his business, and my job will end on June 30.
My husband and I have been trying so hard to hold everything together while caring for our 3-month-old baby. While he has a full time job, I’m working part-time, and holding on to the dream of being a stay-at-home mom. Paying off this final $6,000 in debt would mean freedom—freedom to raise my daughter hands-on without the pressure of rushing back into survival mode.
We’ve gotten $60 in donations so far—from family and from me. If you’ve been on the fence about helping, this is the moment. Even $5 helps keep this hope alive.
Thank you for standing with us—even in spirit.
Day 2 | 05/05/2025
We just received a $50 donation, and I’m genuinely overwhelmed. When you’re scraping by, it’s easy to feel invisible. That gift reminded me we’re not alone.
If you’ve been watching from the sidelines—this is a great time to jump in. Just a few more kind hearts could keep the momentum going.
Thank you for being here.
Main Story
Hi, I’m Amanda—a wife, a new mom to a beautiful 3-month-old baby girl, and someone just trying to give her little family a real shot at stability.
Right now, $6,000 of lingering debt is the wall between us and the fresh start we so badly need. We’ve done everything we can to stretch every penny—cutting back, going without, and trying to stay hopeful. But every time we make a little progress, we’re dragged back by interest, surprise bills, and the fear that we’ll never get ahead.
We’re not asking for luxury. We just want to be free from survival mode.
If we can clear this debt, we could finally start saving for a home—a place to raise our daughter, build routines, and finally rest.
No more dreading rent increases. No more juggling bills just to keep the lights on. Just a stable, secure home where our little girl can grow up safe and loved.
I know $6,000 sounds like a lot. But small acts of kindness add up. Even $5 or $10 makes a difference. And if you can't give, sharing or saying a prayer for our family helps more than you know.
Thank you for reading this. Thank you for being here. Your support means more than words can say.
With love and gratitude,
Amanda
P.S. As a small thank-you, I’d love to send you a handwritten poem, sketch, or printable—just let me know!
