We are living under bombardment, amidst hunger, deprivation, and skyrocketing prices that have made buying a loaf of bread or a can of milk a dream beyond our reach. Everything around us is collapsing—food, water, safety, and dignity.

I am a young man who deeply loves studying, and it was my dream to continue my education, but the war has completely destroyed my life. My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (50 years old), my father Ahmad who suffers from cancer and urgently needs treatment (55 years old), my brothers Muhammad (15 years old), Abd al-Salam (27 years old), his wife Aya, and their daughter Iman who is 3 years old, and my brother Omar (22 years old).

Due to the devastating war in the Gaza Strip, our home was destroyed yesterday after surviving for two years under bombardment and harsh conditions. It is now uninhabitable, and we were forced into repeated displacement in search of safety. We have been displaced more than nine times and are living under extremely harsh conditions with severe shortages of water and food. We are experiencing a real famine—many days we have nothing to eat, and with the insane rise in prices, securing even the most basic necessities has become nearly impossible.

Every member of my family, including myself, is suffering from malnutrition due to the lack and unaffordability of food, and the situation has worsened with the ongoing siege and closure of crossings. Even my little niece Iman, who is only 3 years old, is suffering serious health effects from food scarcity.

I used to work hard to excel academically, graduate, and continue my studies, but my school and everything related to my education has been completely destroyed. We are now in desperate need of donations to fund our travel to a safe country. The cost of travel ranges between $6,000 and $7,000, an amount far beyond our means.
