Everyone has a story. Not everyone gets the chance to tell it.

Imagine having dreams, ambitions, ideas and something important to say, but never having the opportunity or resources to make your voice heard.

For thousands of people, particularly those experiencing homelessness, financial hardship or disadvantage, opportunities can be incredibly difficult to find.

For young people and students trying to make their way in the world, getting noticed, building confidence, and finding someone willing to listen can be just as challenging.

We want to help change that.

Our vision

At New London Media, we have built a podcast and recording studio in the heart of London Bridge.

We have the cameras, microphones, recording equipment and media experience.

Now we want to use those resources to do something that truly matters.

We want to open our studio FREE OF CHARGE to people who might otherwise never have the opportunity to tell their stories.

We want to welcome:

People experiencing homelessness who want to share their experiences, explain their circumstances or talk about their hopes for a better future.

People from disadvantaged backgrounds who have talents, ambitions, business ideas or personal stories that deserve recognition.

Students and young people who want to develop their confidence, showcase their abilities, explore media careers or share their ambitions with the world.

Anyone facing genuine barriers to opportunity who has something meaningful to contribute but lacks the resources or platform to be heard.

More than just a podcast

This isn't simply about sitting someone in front of a microphone.

It's about giving people a platform, treating them with dignity and allowing them to be seen and heard.

Imagine a young person with a brilliant business idea who cannot afford to promote it.

Imagine someone experiencing homelessness who wants potential employers to see the person behind their circumstances.

Imagine a student who dreams of becoming a journalist, television presenter or broadcaster but has never had access to professional equipment.

Or imagine someone who has overcome extraordinary difficulties and whose story could inspire thousands of others.

One conversation, one recording, one opportunity could be the beginning of something life-changing.

What your donation will help us do

Our aim is to make these recording sessions completely free for the people who need them.

Your donations will help us cover the costs of running the studio, providing technical support, recording and editing the programmes, and helping participants share their stories online.

Through New London Media TV and our online platforms, we want these voices to reach beyond the studio walls.

We want employers, businesses, communities and people who can offer genuine opportunities to hear them.

We cannot promise that every recording will change someone's circumstances.

But we can promise to work towards giving participants something valuable:

A professional platform, an opportunity to be heard and a chance to show the world who they are and what they could become.

Why we need your help

We are a small, independent media company with big ambitions.

We believe our studio can become more than a commercial recording facility. It can become a place where people are welcomed, encouraged and given an opportunity regardless of their financial circumstances.

But keeping a professional studio running costs money.

We need support to provide these sessions without charging the people who would benefit from them most.

A professional technician to manage the recording

Editing and production of their video

Social media posting to help their story reach the wider world

We believe everybody deserves to be heard, regardless of their financial circumstances.

Our first goal is to raise £7,500, allowing us to give 50 people their own professional recording opportunity.

We cannot guarantee that one podcast will change someone's life. But we can give them a platform, a chance to build confidence and an opportunity to be noticed.
