Every year, people leave prison and try to rebuild their lives — but in Pasco County, Florida, the law makes it nearly impossible for many of them to find a place to legally live. A 2,500-foot buffer from schools, parks, and libraries eliminates most of the county as an option, leaving people with nowhere to go but the street, or back to the environment that led them into trouble in the first place.

I'm building Ghost Industries, a housing initiative that finds and secures legally compliant properties in Pasco County so people have a real, stable place to land. This isn't about excusing the past — it's about giving people a legitimate shot at a future, instead of setting them up to fail before they even start.

Every dollar raised goes directly toward securing land, preparing it for housing, and getting the first property compliant and ready. I'm starting from very little, but I'm not asking anyone to hand me something for nothing — I'm asking for help building something that genuinely doesn't exist enough of right now.

Ghost Industries is a private company, not a registered nonprofit, so this isn't tax-deductible — but every gift moves us closer to opening a door that's currently closed to so many people trying to do the right thing.
