My husband, our 2-year-old daughter, and I recently moved back to Sonoma County for work, hoping to rebuild our lives and find stability. The transition has been much harder than we expected.
With the costs of a storage unit, two phone bills, hotels, and all the other daily expenses, it’s been nearly impossible to save enough for a place to rent. Despite our best efforts, we found ourselves struggling to make ends meet and worried about how we’d ever get back on our feet.
After a long search, we finally received some good news: we’ve been approved for a place to live. But now we’re facing a new challenge—coming up with the funds to move in by the first. The first month’s rent and deposit are more than we can manage right now, especially after reaching out to multiple organizations and finding there’s no funding available. We’re determined to provide a safe and stable home for our daughter, but we can’t do it alone.
Any help and support from our community would mean the world to us. We don’t have family or friends nearby to lean on, so we’re reaching out in hopes that others might lend a hand. Your kindness will help us give our daughter the stability she deserves and allow us to start this new chapter with hope. Thank you for considering our family.
