My son and I are currently living in a hotel, paying a high monthly cost just to have a roof over our heads. While we are grateful to have a place to stay, the high cost of the hotel and our other daily expenses make it nearly impossible to save enough to move forward. We recently found a house to rent that would be a much better home for us, but we simply can't get ahead while so much of our income goes toward hotel bills each week.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward the deposit for our new home, as well as the deposits needed to get the electric, gas, and water turned on. If possible, we would also use some of the funds to set up wifi, so my son and I can stay connected and have access to important resources. Having a stable home would mean everything to us and would give us the chance to rebuild and move forward together.
