Help Us Come Together This Thanksgiving Holiday to Support Seniors: Support A Very Gleaners Thanksgiving and Share the Warmth of Community with Seniors

A Very Gleaners Thanksgiving Dinner at the Community for Positive Aging (Hollywood Senior Center) is back after a four-year pause for the pandemic! This volunteer-run event on Thursday, November 28th from 3-6pm offers a low-barrier, cooked-from-scratch, family-style dinner for seniors and housing-insecure neighbors. This is an opportunity to come together, share a nourishing meal, and experience the warmth of community during this special season.

For many seniors, holidays can feel isolating. Your support will contribute to an evening of connection, joy, and community. We need to raise $2,500 to cover food and essential supplies for the event.

How You Can Help:

Donate: Every dollar helps purchase food and supplies for the dinner.

In-Kind Donations: We also welcome contributions of food, kitchen items, or decorations.

Volunteer: Join us in preparing for the event and helping out on the day of.

Your support will help us bring seniors together this Thanksgiving for a shared meal, meaningful conversation, and a sense of community.
