We are trying to come together as a community, near and far to help an elderly couple in Dagenham whose lives have changed overnight after a devastating stage 4 cancer diagnosis.

Their home became overwhelming over the years through age, ill health and struggles, and now palliative care teams and nurses are regularly visiting the property.

Work has already started voluntarily, including decluttering, stripping wallpaper and plastering, but there is still so much left to do.

We are hoping to raise funds for materials, flooring, decorating supplies, waste removal, carpets and essential home improvements to make the property safe, peaceful and dignified during this incredibly difficult time.

Any donation, share or support means the world. We are also asking tradespeople with kind hearts to come together and help where possible.

All progress will be documented and shared on social platform without being too invasive to the elderly.
