Over 500 performers come together to celebrate Asian and Pacific Islander culture at our Annual Showcase. However, this year we are facing an enormous problem: We do not have the funding or the venue to make our showcase happen.

For the past five years, APITAC has been hosted at one of our partner schools and has brought together students from across Chicago to showcase their cultures through dance and performance. With around 30 acts from 13 different schools, our showcase has become a place for students to connect with others who share their experiences and celebrate what makes our community unique. However, this year, Whitney Young, Jones, Lane Tech, and Northside cannot host, and our other partner schools are too small to host an event as large as APITAC.

Now, we are struggling to find an affordable venue that can accommodate our growing audience while covering rental, sound, lighting, and other production costs. Although we have found certain venues with the capability to host, we need immense support to bring this year's showcase to life.

We're also offering a special opportunity if you donate: the highest donor who contributes at least $2,500 will have the opportunity to give a speech at our 500-900+ attendee showcase!
