Help Make Our Neighborhood Safer for Everyone

Our neighborhood has been approved for two speed bumps following a recent traffic and speed study — a much-needed step toward making our streets safer for everyone. As many of you know, our street has become a cut-through for drivers who often exceed the speed limit, putting our children, pets, and pedestrians at risk. With Stober Elementary right on our street, the volume of traffic and speeding has been a growing concern for parents, teachers, and neighbors alike.

The good news: the city has approved the installation of two speed bumps to calm traffic and create a safer environment for everyone. The final step is up to us — we need to raise $3,000 to cover the installation costs, as the city has a 50/50 fund match for these projects (the total cost is $6,000).
