Help Us Make Masks for Our Essential Workers

Donation protected
We are the CT 5th District Face Mask Task Force 2020 and we are sewing 100% cotton, reusable face masks for local hospitals, first responders, nursing homes and other vital service providers to help keep our community as safe as possible during the COVID-19 pandemic. This began as an idea by Kent Quilters, which has supported local non-profits over the past five years. In response to the tremendous need, the Task Force has grown our all-volunteer force to more than 175 people, working in cooperation with another sewing group led by the owners of Lakeville Interiors. We have made more than 2,000 masks in two weeks, but the need for face masks is increasing as the pandemic worsens.

All donations will be used to pay for materials. Your support will help us increase the number of masks we can sew and donate to essential workers and the most vulnerable members of our community. Thank you!
