Dear friends, family, and compassionate supporters,

I have never been one to ask for help ever and typically figure it out on my own however we need your help. We are writing to you today with hearts full of hope and a profound request. As many of you know, we've (Gina and I and our husbands) had legal custody of Angelia and Matteo for 6 years, but they have lived with us almost 7 years.

Angelia has expressed concern for why her last name is different than her other siblings and tells her teachers that her last name is Stapleton, not Foti, and wants to be called Angelia Stapleton. She has lived with Justin, myself, and our 8 other children since she was 2 years old and only knows us as her parents. Matteo has lived with Gina, Dan, and their boys since he was 6 weeks old and has never had a relationship with his biological parents. He loves his mom, dad, and brothers fiercely and also expresses that his last name is Holleran. After much thought and careful consideration, we've embarked on the incredible journey of adopting these 2 beautiful kids and continuing to provide them with a loving and secure home. This path, while filled with immense joy and anticipation, also presents significant financial hurdles.

Adoption costs can be substantial, with legal processes and various expenses along the way. We are committed to this journey and have taken several steps to raise funds ourselves, including 401k and personal finance accounts. However, even with our efforts, we anticipate needing approximately $10,000 to continue this process.

This is where we humbly ask for your support. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to permanently making our children (Angelia and Matteo) legally our children. Your generosity will directly impact our ability to cover the essential costs associated with this adoption and provide a safe and nurturing environment for both Angelia and Matteo.
