Who are The Glasgow Wood Recycling Project?

Glasgow Wood Recycling is a social enterprise and registered charity committed to giving individuals with challenges and disabilities a purpose in their life allowing them to build their confidence, dignity and self worth through allowing them to give back to the community who have helped them through reducing the amount of wood needlessly going to landfill by finding creative and socially inclusive ways to reuse this valuable natural resource.

The beating heart of what we do is provide volunteer and training opportunities to local individuals, using practical work experience and training to build a foundation for them to go into the real world/community and lead a meaning and enriched life whilst tackling unemployment and social exclusion.

The smallest donation makes the biggest difference. We appreciate that most of us in the real world want to make a difference but find that our real lives prevent us from making that commitment. We get it. So here is how you can help us and genuinely know you are making a difference:-
