Hello all.

My name is Cherin. I am 41, disabled, and currently live with my sister Leia. We moved into a second-floor apartment several years ago, and for a while, it was a fine enough accommodation. Cheap, but livable. Unfortunately, in the years that have followed, especially with lockdown happening in 2020, both of us have started to see our physical and mental health deteriorate. It has resulted in a situation where an upper-floor apartment is no longer viable for us. We and our four beautiful ESA cats are desperately in need of a new home. We are currently putting ourselves on as many housing waitlists as possible, but even with potential affordable/low-income housing, there will still be costs associated with getting us to a safer, better unit.

We know it's a hard time for a lot of people right now, but even if you just pass our message along to others, we would be forever grateful.
