Help us lawyer-up.

We are asking for funds to secure a family lawyer to guide us through the continuing child-support battle with Amanda's ex-husband. He is currently trying to get partial custody of the girls-which he can of he does things properly-and he had counsel. We made it through the divorce by ourselves, but this is different. We don't want to make any mistakes, and only a lawyer has the expertise to see it through.

The girls have not seen their biological father in well over four years. We do not want to make the reintegration plan difficult, but we do need assurances that their father has the best intentions, and we do not have the resources to make that possible.

Please, help if you can. We are only sharing this with close friends and family. We won't be upset if we fall short. But we had to take a chance in asking g for help.
