Burundi is full of talented young musicians — singers, gospel artists, and traditional performers who keep our culture alive. Yet much of this talent goes unseen, because most live music happens in bars, which many families, youth, and communities cannot easily attend.
That’s why we are launching Muhira Muzika — elegant daytime acoustic concerts, safe and welcoming for everyone. No bars, no late nights — just beautiful music performed with dignity.
We will begin in june, 2026 hosting one concert per month on Sunday afternoons, with an intimate audience of only 50–80 people. This small format will create a warm, respectful space where music can truly be appreciated.
We are organizing our first (3) events to give these artists a platform, fairly compensate them, and show that a vibrant creative community is possible in Burundi.
We are humbly seeking $4,790 to cover venue setup, sound and lighting, artist compensation, rehearsals, and promotion.
Your support will help young musicians be seen, valued, and heard. Every contribution — big or small — brings this vision closer to life.
If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign also makes a big difference. ✨
