My name is Ricky, and this is my twin brother, Rae. Our journey hasn’t been easy but it’s given us the purpose we live for today.

We were raised by a strong single mom who worked multiple jobs to keep food on the table. Rae was born with spina bifida and has faced physical challenges since birth, while I made poor choices as a youth and spent years in prison from age 14 to 21. Those years taught me the value of second chances, family, and community.

Today, together, we run a nonprofit supply pantry that assists around 200 people a month with everyday essentials like:

• Baby supplies (diapers, formula, wipes)

• Nonperishable food

• Hygiene products

In just a few months, we’ve already helped over 750 people and distributed over 1,000 essential items. Every donation makes a direct impact on a family in need.

The Next Step: Little Lift

We’re now dedicating ourselves to launching Little Lift—an innovative smart locker system that will allow families to pick up essential items anytime, safely and with dignity.

Here’s how it works:

1. Families approved for assistance get a unique access code.

2. They visit a Little Lift machine in their community.

3. Enter the code → a locker door opens with their essentials inside.

It’s simple, secure, and removes the barriers that keep families from getting the help they need.

The demand is overwhelming—in just 24 hours, nearly 150 people applied for assistance through our pantry. That number continues to grow. We want to make sure every family who asks for help can get it.
