We’re two creatives from the Netherlands trying to do something different — and maybe a little crazy.
While big brands open new stores every week, the small, independent businesses we love — the bike repair guy, the tattoo shop on the corner, the bakery that knows your name — are slowly disappearing from view. They don’t have marketing budgets. They don’t go viral. But they’re what make a city feel alive.
So we started GRAS.
We create temporary actions in public space — playful, smart, sometimes strange — that make people stop, smile, and interact with something real. A poster hunt in the park. A scanned image built from local fragments. A moment where strangers meet, laugh, and leave with something unexpected.
Each event is linked to a local business — not to sell something, but to remind people that these places matter. That good work deserves attention. That the city is still ours.
We do this for free. Not because it’s easy, but because it’s worth it.
This fundraiser helps us keep going — with better tools, better materials, and enough time to do it right.
Not just for the businesses, but for everyone walking by who deserves a little more wonder in their day.
Thanks for being part of this.
