In recent years, we’ve faced the heartache of losing men from our community to suicide—sons, brothers, fathers, and friends who felt they had nowhere to turn. These losses have been a stark reminder of the silent struggles so many men endure every day, often without a safe space to open up.
That’s why we’ve created BroTalk: Breaking the Silence, a grassroots initiative dedicated to providing men with a supportive and judgment-free space to share their thoughts and feelings. Our mission is to challenge the stigma surrounding men’s mental health, spark meaningful conversations, and let men know they’re never alone in their battles.
Our first event will take place at The Commercial, Easingwold, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment where men can come together, connect, and access vital support and resources. To make this vision a reality, we need your help.
Your donations will go toward:
- Covering venue and equipment costs.
- Producing promotional materials to reach more people.
- Providing refreshments and event supplies.
- Securing professional support from counselors or guest speakers.
