Each year, Opal22 Arts and Edutainment hosts the Annual Windrush Tea Party to honour the incredible legacy of the Windrush Generation.

It is an essential event for Leicester's community. It is a time to celebrate the history of Caribbean people and their impact on shaping modern British culture, and teaches younger generations about the resilience and strength of the Windrush Generation. This event is not just a party; it’s a celebration of a vital and vibrant area of Britains mosaic of Culture!

This year, we’ve hit a roadblock, as we didn’t receive the funding we were hoping for. But we are determined to make this event happen and continue this important tradition. That’s where we need your help.
