Support the Drainage Project at Green Valley Orphanage School – Fort Portal, Uganda
Every child deserves a safe place to learn, grow, and dream.
At Green Valley Orphanage School in Fort Portal, Uganda, over 300 children call this place not only their school but their home. These are children who have already faced unimaginable hardship—losing parents, battling poverty, and fighting for their right to an education.
But now, something as simple as rain is standing in their way.
Every time it rains, floodwaters filled with black, contaminated runoff pour into their classrooms and kitchen. Books are ruined, floors are soaked, meals are stopped, and lessons are canceled. Children are forced to wade through dirty water, risking their health and safety just to attend school or eat a meal.
No child should have to learn in knee-deep water. No child should go hungry because the kitchen is flooded.
We are raising funds to complete a critical drainage system that will protect the classrooms, kitchen, and surrounding school grounds from future flooding. This project will not only preserve the children’s access to food and education, but also restore a sense of dignity and hope to a place that means everything to them.
Our goal is $2500 – every dollar goes directly to materials, labor, and implementation of a sustainable drainage solution.
This isn’t just about infrastructure.
This is about giving these children what every child deserves:
✨ a clean classroom, a warm meal, and a safe space to dream.
Your support—no matter how small—can help us finish this project and change lives.
Whether you donate, share this campaign, or keep us in your thoughts, thank you for standing with the children of Green Valley.
Let’s stop the flooding.
Let’s keep the doors of education and hope wide open.
